Our recent travels to Europe included visiting some pretty magical places, but there was one town that I did not want to leave. Located in Bavaria along what is known as the Romantic road is the charming little town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. If I had to name one German fairytale town you must see, this would be it.

It took all about five minutes for me to spot Anno 1893, the most charming linen shop window beautifully decorated with hand made table linens. We popped in to have a look and were greeted by the nicest shop keeper. She was so eager to help me find the perfect pieces to bring home with me. She even asked Philipp (in German) what my favorite color was so she could add a little lavender pillow in my bag. That was my first taste of real southern German charm.

I kept smiling at Philipp asking time and time again if we could please move here. Everything felt so perfect! From the moment I put on this Gal Meets Glam Collection dress, I knew it was going to be a great day. The sun was beaming off of the pastel colored homes giving them an ethereal glow. The skies were so blue and the clouds were so fluffy. There was a cool breeze blowing through the cobblestone streets so I was glad to have this pastel pink jean jacket to keep me cozy.

One of my Germany purchases included these Peter Kaiser Flats in this rose color that I love. They are simple enough to wear everyday but still add a sophisticated elegance. The basket bag was a find at a store called Lilly Rain and I added a pink bandeau tied in a bow to give it a more feminine touch.

We walked through as many streets as possible before we stopped to eat a late lunch at Hotel-Gasthof Goldener Greifen. I ordered Schnitzel per usual because it is my favorite and I can never get enough. The staff was so friendly and tried their hardest to speak to me in English as I tried to speak to them in German. Everyone was so accomodating and willing to help in any way.

After our meal we stopped by the famous Käthe WohlfahrtWeihnachts Markt, but sadly it was closed. I am adding it to my must do list for our next visit, which I am already dreaming about. By then the sun was setting and we made our way back home.
