Sunset at the Lake

One of our favorite things about the south are the sunsets. We had been talking for months about finding the perfect location for sunset gazing. We had heard Lake Kedron had a beautiful view so we decided to visit to see for ourselves. We arrived around half passed five so we could witness the blue skies turn into the stunning pink and purple hues we adore so much. As the sun retired behind the beautiful pines, it created a beautiful golden glow that added an ethereal ambience. I felt like I just stepped into a scene in a movie.

There was a cool breeze blowing through so I wore this hooded jacket over my favorite striped tee ( last seen here ). This jacket has such a nautical feel with the navy and white striped lining so it will be the perfect addition anytime we are lakeside. Since we weren’t canoeing or doing any lake activities, I wore my black glittery Superga Sneakers ( similar here ). Otherwise, you guys know I would have opted for the Hunter boots per usual (I really need to purchase another color).

Philipp and I are still talking about that sunset. We are hoping to find a closer spot from our place so we can hop on our bikes and enjoy many more evenings like this one. Maybe even pack a picnic dinner and a blanket for a fun date night.
